AGUERO HAT-TRICK PIES MORE MISERY ON CHELSEA
BY uwoghiren
Sergio Aguero hit a hat-trick as City swept Chelsea aside at Stamford Bridge with Thibaut Courtois’ late sending off compounding Hiddink’s misery.
After booking their first ever champions league semi finals in midweek, the visitors took the lead just after the half-hour mark thanks to a quick break from former Chelsea man Kevin de Bruyne.
The Belgium international broke forward from a Chelsea corner before picking out Aguero who fired a low shot, which took a slight touch off Gary Cahill, and flew past Courtois and low into the bottom corner.
The Argentina international then grabbed his second of the game, 10 minutes into the second half. Another quick break saw De Bruyne feed Nasri who slid in Aguero to crash home a shot at the near post.
There was still time for more drama, Courtois seeing red after bringing down Fernandinho, leaving Aguero to beat substitute goalkeeper Asmir Begovic from the spot to seal his hat-trick.
