WAYNE BACK IN TRAINING

Wayne Rooney has returned to training, but will not be risked in Manchester United's crucial trip to Tottenham on Sunday by uwoghiren
A knee injury has kept the united captain out for nearly two months, but he is closing in on a first-team return.
Rooney this week took part in two training sessions as he stepped up his rehabilitation, although Louis van Gaal will not risk him at title-contender Spurs on Sunday.
Instead, the England skipper will line up at Old Trafford on Monday as United's Under-21 side host Middlesbrough.
"No (he won't play at Tottenham), he's playing for the Under-21s," said manager Van Gaal.
"It's going very well. He has trained with us two times - only two times so it's not too much.
"He has to build up his capacity in the 21s team."

MOURINHO TO RETURN TO MANAGEMENT IN SUMMER

MOURINHO GUARANTEE HE WILL BE BACK IN SUMMER
By uwoghiren
Jose Mourinho says he can “almost guarantee” he will be back in managerial action this summer and has "good offers on the table" as speculation surrounding his future continues.
The Portuguese has been out of work since leaving his second spell in charge of Chelsea back in December after a huminating start to the season with the Chelsea.
The former inter Milan coach has been heavily linked with replacing Louis van Gaal at Manchester United, meanwhile he has also been linked to Real Madrid should Zinedine Zidane fail to win the Champions League.
"I can almost guarantee you that I’ll be back working this summer," he told Portuguese newspaper O Jogo . "I’ve good offers on the table.
"It’s a matter of thinking, to come to a good decision and finalise it. In the summer, at the end of the season, everyone will know what my next club will be”.
While he did not reveal which offers he has on the table, he did say he is ready to go after months out of the game
"One thing is certain, my future won’t be at Estoril or Pacos, because they’re both having great seasons and won’t change manager," he joked
"I’ll take my ideas to where they wanted. I want to be at a place where I’m truly wanted.
"After a few months to recharge my batteries, I'll be ready to go with everything I have to give
"I want to work at a club with responsibility, in a hard league, where there’re no easy objectives. That doesn’t leave many options."

Diehard Arsenal fan in Malaysia does Arsenal themed wedding

You know your partner really loves you when she lets you do this on her wedding day! A Malaysian Die-hard Arsenal fan last weekend hosted an extravagant Arsenal themed wedding where the dance floor was hilariously replaced by a mini football pitch whilst the couple used the Arsenal emblem on their menu. All the guests at the wedding wore Arsenal jerseys.
Amazing

Am beginning to feel proud that support arsenal.

Tips to boost your performance at interviews

Interviews are your best opportunity to sell your skills and abilities. Also, they give you a chance to know if the job and company are right for you. The following are therefore tips to boost your interview performance.

1. Go through common interview questions.

You can virtually find interview questions online. Find someone to practice answering them with or do that in front of a mirror. You need to come prepared with stories that relate to the skills that the recruiter wants, while emphasizing:

• Your strengths
• Your willingness to work and flexibility
• Your leadership skills
• Your ability and willingness to learn new things or ideas
• Your contributions to the organizations in which you have worked
• Your creativity in solving problems and working with people

Find out in advance how well you are suitable for the job. With this, you will know if you lack a particular skill. Plan how you will convince the interviewer that you can learn the skill that you lack.

2. Prepare a list of questions you would like to ask during the interview.

Here, choose questions that will demonstrate your interest in the job and of course, the company. This might involve giving a comment on the news you came across on the company’s website, and asking a question in relation to it. Furthermore, ask questions based on the job you will be expected to perform. These may include:

• What your day-to-day responsibilities of the job would be like.
• How your responsibilities and performance would be measured and by whom.
• Ask them to explain their organizational structure.
• What computer equipment and software are being used.
• The organization’s plan for the next five years.

3. Be adequately prepared.

Remember to go with important items to the interview. These include:

• Copies of your CV
• Notebook and pens
• Copies of letter(s) of recommendation, licenses, transcripts, etc (if applicable)
• Portfolio of work samples (if applicable)

4. On the interview day, be sure to:

• Arrive there 15 to 20 minutes early.
• Dress appropriately in a manner relevant to the job. Appear professional.
• Turn off your mobile phone.
• Go with your sense of humor and remember to smile!

5. Exhibit a high level of confidence during the interview.

Your level of boldness must be firm but let the interviewer begin the dialogue. Your body language must reflect a positive message.

• If a hand is offered to you by the interviewer, shake it firmly.
• Maintain eye contact with him/her/them.
• Be attentive. Welcome all questions with a smile even the difficult ones.
• Give honest answers and be direct with them.
• Answers must be developed speedily in your head first before you respond. Be sure to understand the questions asked before you respond, otherwise, ask for it to be repeated or clarified. Take your time to give appropriate answers.

6. Conclude the interview with a good impression.

Ending the interview with a good impression is another great way to ensure your success.

• Be polite and allow the interview to end as at when due.
• Summarize any strengths and experiences that you might not have mentioned earlier.
• Mention a particular activity or achievement that fits the job.
• Enquire if there would be subsequent interviews.
• Ask when the recruiter plans to make a selection or decision.
• Specify a time when you may contact the recruiter to learn of the decision.

Finally, don’t forget to send the employer a thank you letter or note after the interview

NIGERIA DROPPED IN THE LATEST FIFA RANKING

NIGERIA SLIP TO 67TH IN APRIL FIFA RANKING
By uwoghiren
Just because of their inability to secure an Afcon ticket, the Super Eagles dropped five places to the sixty-seventh position in the world in the latest Fifa ranking released on Thursday.
This fall is not far-fetched from the Super Eagles’ inability to defeat Egypt in two Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Kaduna and Alexandria – and in the process lost the ticket to feature at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations billed for Gabon.
They also slipped five places to be ranked 14th best African side behind Algeria, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Senegal, Egypt, Cape Verde, Tunisia, Congo DR, Guinea, Congo, Camerron, Morocco and Mali.
Meanwhile, Algeria remain at the top summit of African football after moving four places to the 33rd position in the world while second-placed Cote d'Ivoire climbed two places to 34th and Egypt zoomed nine places up to 44th in the world but are fifth in Africa.
While Argentina leapfrogged over Belgium to take the top spot in the world ranking as Chile stay third in the world.
