Not with Don Jazzy, Dr Sid, 2face Idibia or anybody. I have never cheated on my husband, and Tunji knows this. He knows that in his heart. (She breaks down in tears) Sometimes in the studio, one of the things that Don Jazzy and some of my other label mates say is that I am really good with interviews, with being diplomatic and knowing how to carry myself with difficult situations. MAHREZ WINS PFA PLAYER OF THE YEAR

MAHREZ NAMED PFA PLAYER OF THE YEAR
By uwoghiren

Riyad Mahrez has been named the PFA Player of the Year for 2016 seeing off competition from  team-mates Jamie Vardy and N'Golo Kante and spurs's Harry Kane to scoop the prize.
The Algeria international has been inspirational for Claudio Ranieri's side this season with his 17th goal of the season on Sunday helping them move eight points clear at the top of the table after a 4-0 win over Swansea City.
Mahrez has also contributed 11 assists for the Foxes, who remain hot favourites to win their first ever Premier League title with just three games left to play.
The Algeria international's Leicester team-mate Jamie Vardy came second in the vote with Tottenham striker Harry Kane finishing third.
"It's extra special because if the players vote for me it's because they've seen I've been great this year so I'm happy," said Mahrez on accepting the award.
"Without my team-mates I wouldn't get this award. We are like brothers, it's everywhere on the pitch. That's our strength.
"If sometimes we are not good, we know we are going to run and make the effort for our team-mates. That is the secret of our success."

Mahrez is Leicester's first-ever winner of the award and also makes history by becoming the first African player to pick up the accolade.
The 25-year-old Algeria international is also the first winner not to play for Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham or Manchester United since Newcastle United's Alan Shearer in 1997.
Elsewhere, Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli was named Young Player of the Year, Jamie Vardy received an award to recognise his record 11-game Premier Leageue goalscoring streak and Ryan Giggs received the PFA Merit Award.

5 Common Smartphone Battery misconception

Last month, I did a post on Top Reasons Why Your Smartphone Battery Now Drain Twice As Fast. Click here to view.

Now we are the misconceptions.
The ultimate need to keep our smartphones running at all times has manifest in a number of ways. Smartphone users hunt for different measures to keep their batteries healthier and durable. A number of these "battery saving practices" are just mare misconceptions and misinformations (All na wash) which most people consider. Here are five of the most prevalent smartphone battery myths :

1. Don't use your phone while charging: Most people believe that using your phone while charging might cause your phone to implode or end up electrocuting you. Well this is not exactly true, except if you're using it in a bathtub, making call or if your charger is Aba made . Charging your phone and using it at the same time has no effect on battery quality. However, it can slow the rate at which your phone get fully juiced because the longer you screen is on the more power it'll consume.

2. Let your battery run down completely before charging: This was applicable to old age batteries which are the Nickel Cadmium or Nickel-metal hydride batteries. These batteries used to be foolish. They tend to forget their full capacity hence can no longer charge 100% again. Most Modern smartphones however, use lithium-ion batteries which works entirely different from the old batteries. In fact, complete battery drainage before charging is believed to reduce battery durability. Most batteries have finite number of charging cycles and as it continuously increases battery efficiency is reducing. As your battery drains to 0% more charging cycles results. It is better advisable to keep your battery charged at all times in contrast to complete depletion.

3. Leaving your phone on charger overnight damages the battery: This is probably the most common. As it is believed overcharging reduces the battery's ability to hold charge. This is true for ancient lithium-ion batteries that could overheat or even explode if charged for too long. Modern phones however, are called smartphones for a reason. They're intelligent enough to detect or recognize when the battery is fully charged thereby limiting the power reaching the battery. In fact, most smartphones undergo trickle charge that improves battery health. Leaving your device to charge overnight is not as detrimental as they say. This however, doesn't guarantee you leave your device connected to the power source in excess of 12 hours. Some other factors might arise such as the battery overheating and this coupled with a poor battery casing might cause your battery to explode. It is more recommended to maintain battery juice between 40% - 80%.

4. Use only original charger to charge your phone: Although the use of official original charger is highly recommended, brand-off or third party chargers work just fine. However there's an exception to super-cheap crappy chargers which can lead to battery damage. A Licensed third party charger is just fine as long as it charges you device. Although it might take a longer time to fill up your battery.

5. Task Managers or App killers conserve phone battery: Most often, you'll find a lot of people opting-in for task managers to help preserve smartphone battery. But in the actual sense these apps only results in more battery depletion.App killers tend to arbitrarily destroy applications running in background thereby taking it out of the phone's RAM. Most of these apps are required for the phone to function normally. So as soon as they're closed, they'll have to load to the phone's memory all over again. This frequent loading and unloading puts extra stress on the device leading to more power consumption than if you just left it alone.

A very touching story. Our Nigerian police should learn from

Am touched by this... Wish our Nigeria police will be like him...
Helene from The USA.Someone reported against her that she stole from a supermarket.

When the policeman went to arrest her , he asked her : what did you steal?, she answered : only five eggs to feed my children.

He took her to the super market and bought for her some food., she started to cry and said : sir it's too much what
you do.

He said : sometimes we shouldn't apply the law but we must apply the humanity.

Lil Kesh plan to leave YBNL

Over the weekend, there were insinuations that Talented rapper, Lil Kesh will be leaving his label, YBNL, a home which houses Adekunle Gold, Chinko Ekun, Viktoh, Pheelz, Young John under the leadership of King Olamide Badoo.

This news is one that nobody envisaged, at first, everyone thought it was just a joke but since the news broke, there hasn’t been a statement from the label to debunk the rumours, hereby confirming it to be true.

However, as surprising as it is, there has to be reasons for this development and at Saharaweekly, these are what we tink the pains of Lil kesh are:

Cheating : No doubt, Lil kesh is one great artiste that has a lot to offer, he is also a street guy which makes him blend with the whole YBNL crew. He has made lot of hit song and he was part of the first set of artiste signed to the label. Before the arrival of other artistes, videos were shot for all of Lil kesh’s song but the situation has changed. He released his album some months ago and till now, no video has been shot whereas, Adekunle Gold released ‘Ready’ some weeks back and in a space of days, a nice video was shot.
Another issue is Olamide’s latest jam, ‘Who you epp’. Olamide knew the kind of person he is, whenever he releases anything, it’s surely going to be the new language in town. This track technically killed Lil Kesh’s Album ‘Y.A.G.I’ whereas; he didn’t do same in the matter of Viktoh, Adekunle Gold, and others.

Retrogression: Lil kesh has been with Olamide for two years, and he got no tangible endorsement. He started the career with Reekado banks, Korede Bello, and those guys are already smiling to the bank. They are making a living out of their music, without depending on their record label. This is really disheartening for the Youngster. He hasn’t really progressed.
Another one is that he hasn’t gotten any prime award ever since he joined YBNL.

Modesty: This is really a big issue. It has become a custom for Olamide to say unprintable words to organizers of awards if Lil kesh isn’t given any. He has done it twice at the Headies awards. This is affecting the young man’s career. Award organizers don’t want to nominate him again, no one wants olamide’s trouble.

Lil kesh is a great artiste, but we hope if he eventually leaves, he becomes greater even though it will be difficult.

Furthermore, confirming his Exit story, Lil Kesh’s Manager, AB Fresh was called live on radio and was asked to confirm or debunk the rumour but he said ‘ When it’s time, you will know, there’s no fun telling you right now’

Success bro.

Hazard is fit to feature for Chelsea against Bournemouth

Eden has not played competitive football in over a month due to a lingering hip problem  in Chelsea's Champions League round-of-16 second-leg defeat to Paris Saint-Germain, but has participated fully in training this week with no physical setbacks.
Hiddink says the Belgium midfielder will not be able to play 90 minutes against Bournemouth, but is confident that he is ready to step up his recovery.
"He will travel [to Bournemouth]," Hiddink said. "It's not for a whole game but he's available to play. This week he was training without any physical complaints, which is a good sign, and that makes him very alive in training."

RONALDO A DOUBT FOR CITY CLASH

Ronaldo doubtful for Manchester City clash
By uwoghiren

Ronaldo picked up the thigh issue late in Wednesday's 3-0 La Liga win over Villarreal, with the attacker's availability for next Tuesday's Champions League semifinal first leg at City now uncertain.
After tests carried out on both Thursday and Friday in the Spanish capital, Madrid said that the 31-year-old had a strain in his right thigh muscle without giving any indication when he might be ready to return to action.
The Blancos coach told a news conference that the injury was being monitored from day to day, but even with Madrid chasing the Liga title and Ronaldo going for the European Golden Shoe top scorer award he was definitely not going to be in the match squad for Saturday's game.
"Tomorrow [Ronaldo] will not play," Zidane said. "We did the scans and he has nothing serious, but he cannot play tomorrow. Then we will see day to day. Tomorrow he will stay at home. Then we will see about Tuesday."

NEYMAR TO MISS COPA AMERICA

OFFICIAL: NEYMAR TO MISS COPA AMERICA

Barca have confirmed that Neymar will represent Brazil at the Olympic Games but not the Copa America this summer.
Earlier this month, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced they would fight the European champions' insistence that the forward would only be available for one tournament.
Now, however, Barca claim that CBF president Marco Polo del Nero has agreed that Neymar will be called up solely for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
A club statement reads: "FC Barcelona thanks the Brazilian Football Confederation and its president, Marco Polo del Nero, for having accepted the proposal the club made so that Neymar would only play the Olympic Games that take place between August 3 and 21.
"As a result, Neymar Jr will be exempted from playing the Copa America that takes place in United States between June 3 and 26."
The Copa America is taking place for a second consecutive year to mark the centenary of Conmebol and the first tournament in 1916.
It will be hosted outside of South America, in the United States, for the first time and features an expanded field of 16 teams including six Concacaf representatives.
Neymar was sent off at the end of Brazil's second match of last summer's Copa America in Chile, resulting in a four-match ban which ruled him out of the rest of the tournament.

IBRA DON'T SCARE US

IBRAHIMOVIC DON'T SCARE DREAM TEAM VI - SIASIA
By Uwoghiren

Nigeria U23 coach Samson Siasia says he isn't scared of threats from Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez and PSG’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Dream Team VI will face Sweden, Colombia and Japan in Group B of the group stage of the 2016 Olympics men's football event and the duo have been penciled down to represent their countries.
"There is nothing to fear about Zlatan Ibrahimovich starring for the Swedish team and James Rodriguez staring for Colombia in our Group,” Siasia told Goal.
“These two countries already know their weak areas that they want these mentioned want to come and cover up. So they already have a team on ground.
"But we don't know yet because we are trying to put up a team that would determine which three over aged players we would want to bring. But Sweden and Colombia already know their grey areas.
"Those names like Ibramnovic and Rodriguez won't scare us. It is about the team not about an individual. We have played about bigger names before in competitions. We played against an Argentine team that had Lionel Messi, Gonzalo Huguain, Angel Di Maria and other big players.
“ So we are not scared about the names. We just need to put up a team that hold its own against any team, I mean a team that we can all be proud of?
"We need to think well on the over aged players we want to invite. I don't want to mention names now that later if those names are not there they will be so much disappointed,” he concluded.

4 Things Every Fresh Nigerian Graduate Should Keep In Mind

Every Nigerian undergraduate heaves a sigh of relief the moment they write the last paper of their final exams, no matter what part of the world they find themselves. They tend to think the worst is over and they are pumped up with enthusiasm for the future. Most of them who are not in the country immediately return home with copious optimism despite the fact that most of them have little or no knowledge about the Nigerian job market and potential careers for them.

Fortunately, life does not start and end within the four corners of the classroom. It is important that you are properly prepared – mentally and otherwise- before jumping into the labor world, that way you are prepared for every possibility.

1. Slow your roll, it is not a race

You have just graduated, you have so many dreams to achieve, your goals and vision seem so feasible, and because you have so much positive energy, you are possessed with the strong urge to achieve them all immediately. You then find yourself comparing your strides with those of friends and thus filled with self-loathing when most of them seem to be ahead: they are already in Law school, graduate school or have landing a great job while you are still at home still watching Super Story or Crime Watch.

While it is fairly common to justify your worth immediately after graduation, you need to keep in mind that life is not a race. Give yourself time; your path does not necessarily go in the same way as others. Take your time in forge your path…and remember, the race is not for the swift.

2. Your degree does not guarantee a job

Yes, you worked your heart out at the university, studied every night, attained excellent grades and graduated Magna Cum Laude. However, these achievements in school, no matter how laudable, do not entitle you to a six figure job, with full benefits and a corner office.

You need to get your head out of the sand and realize that your mental ability and hands-on skills are what sets you apart in the real world. Forget the degree! Take personal responsibility and equip yourself with the courage to shape your future with your own hands.

3. Experience is worth more than the pay

Do not be too fixated on how much you earn. You are just starting out so be smart, take the first few years to gain the best possible experience that and equip yourself for opportunities to make all the money you need in the future.

Do not stay idle waiting for the job with the huge pay, it may never come, as in Nigeria, experience matters a lot. Take the internships, the unpaid jobs and use the opportunity to build a network of contacts. Spend your days and nights gaining valuable working experience and marketable skills. The experience and skill will eventually separate you from all the others who graduated with you and set you apart.

4. Your Social Media page has a huge influence on the opportunities that come to you

Social Media is huge and almost everyone has an account on either Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Snapchat.

While you have free reign over your account and can post anything you want on it, you need to be cautious when sharing stuff online as you cannot regulate the number of people who visit and view your wall. One of them could be your prospective employer or someone who is linked to a company you have applied to. Avoid immature comments and foul language as most times, companies use their potential-employees social media profiles in order to know them better…and you want them to get a good impression. Create a social media profile that reflects your ambitions, and provides a link to your resume for potential recruiters.

Carrick set for new man utd  Deal
By uwoghiren

With the 34-year-old`s contract running out at the end of the current season, the press has been alive with speculation that the experienced midfielder could be set to leave Old Trafford with destinations such as Everton, Newcastle United and West Ham United having been mentioned.
However, appearing in The Sun this morning is the inference that the midfielder has been told by one prominent board member, at Old Trafford, there is a new deal ready for him to sign.
But, the insinuation is given that any deal must wait until the manager`s position is clarified. Which, to us; suggests that it is another broad hint that Louis van Gaal could be on his way this summer.

After booking their first ever champions league semi finals in midweek, the visitors took the lead just after the half-hour mark thanks to a quick break from former Chelsea man Kevin de Bruyne.
The Belgium international broke forward from a Chelsea corner before picking out Aguero who fired a low shot, which took a slight touch off Gary Cahill, and flew past Courtois and low into the bottom corner.
The Argentina international then grabbed his second of the game, 10 minutes into the second half. Another quick break saw De Bruyne feed Nasri who slid in Aguero to crash home a shot at the near post.
There was still time for more drama, Courtois seeing red after bringing down Fernandinho, leaving Aguero to beat substitute goalkeeper Asmir Begovic from the spot to seal his hat-trick.

HIDDINK: NEVER SEEN A PLAYER LOSE FORM AS EDEN

I'VE NEVER SEEN A PLAYER LOSE FORM  AS HAZARD
By uwoghiren

The interim manager Hiddink has admitted he has never seen a player lose form as drastically as Eden Hazard during the current campaign.
Eden  was named the PFA Player of the Year last season as the Blues won the Premier League title but has endured a difficult decline in 2015-16, scoring just two goals in the FA Cup.
Hiddink explained he had attempted to take the pressure off Hazard in order to help him back to his best but also conceded that the Belgian's personality made him difficult to read.
When asked if he had ever seen a player lose form like Hazard, Guus said: "Not so drastically because he was the number one and now he is at the end of a long row of players.
"That is difficult. So yeah, what do you do... to some players, [you say] 'hey, go away for one week on holiday' or whatever. He was away when he was injured, he went off a few days and you hope he can recover also.
"On the other hand, you must not dramatise so much. I think always you come back by trying to play like kids play. I think that is the best always, go away and try to think in the moment what you are doing. That is what I told him: 'Go and play like a kid'.
"It is also about when everything I say is not a criticism towards him, you know. If you see his skills and you see his spontaneous action, which he did this week in two or three training sessions... he was very light and you see his movements and they are, by nature, they are perfect.
"The conditions are there but there are also the conditions about how do you cope with the season he has had now. How does he react? He can be on a very, very high level but it is not just the skills by nature but also the experience in the career.
"If I say now the word 'desire', that it is also about. I am not saying he doesn't have desire, but he is a very quiet person and you can not read always about his desire, read minds."
Explaining on Hazard's reserved nature, Hiddink says that the 25-year-old is not the type of player to ask for help but does not believe he has lost confidence in his ability.
"I think he has a difficult time and there are different characters," the coach added. "One is [expressive], more outspoken than others, [whereas] he is the kind of guy who is quiet.
"The worries are there of course if you are the most valuable player one year and then one year later you are hardly playing. That is difficult.
"He is not a player who is asking 'what can I do, what can I do' because of course this reward from last year (the PFA Player of the Year award), gives him a lot of confidence, which he had before but it is a big reward.
"Saying that, he is a quiet person and he is not coming too much to say 'how can I sort it?'.
"In training this week I saw him training very spontaneously. I think you have to go in that road and that is not easy to try to avoid a lot of thinking about yourself and looking for causes that might not be there."

DE GEA EXIT RUMOURS ANGERS VAN GAAL

VAN GAAL REACTS ANGRILY TO DE GEA EXIT RUMOURS
By uwoghiren

The Red devils boss  response angrily to  the suggestion  de Gea almost moved to Real Madrid in 2015, challenging the reporter to take it up with Florentino Perez.
The Spanish goalkeeper's aborted transfer, was hinder by paperworks, and went down into deadline day  in September.
But Van Gaal on Friday appeared to deny such a negotiation ever existed.
"Oh yeah? You think so," he said in a press conference, when asked over the chances of talks resuming in the coming window.
"You have all the evidence of that? You have spoken with Mr Perez [the Real president] and Mr Woodward [the United executive vice-chairman] about the matter
"You have said that he [De Gea] is going to Real Madrid. I have always said that he stays. You remember that? Now you are asking how long he has to stay. Come on. First you have to say, ‘OK, sorry I have written that. Sorry.’
"Ask him [De Gea]. Maybe he said something about that [leaving]. But to me."
The manager also believes that Manchester United will not be forced to trim their squad in the close-season, even if they miss out on Champions League football.
With six games remaining United trail rivals City by four points in the race to grab fourth place in this year's Premier League.
“I don’t think so but, of course, you have to ask the players. But the players are the participants in every week’s match," he told a press conference

BASTAIN UNLIKELY TO PLAY AGAIN

Bastian Schweinsteiger is unlikely to play again this season, but  van Gaal believes the Germany captain could yet make Euro 2016.
By uwoghiren

Life since swapping Bayern Munich for Old Trafford has been up and downs for the World Cup winner, with injury restricting him to just 31 appearances.
The last of those came in the derby win at Manchester City before an international break when he suffered a partial medial collateral ligament tear during training with his country ahead of the friendly with England.
With his current injury  set to rule him out for the rest of United's season if not perhaps this summer's European Championship in France.
"I don't think Schweinsteiger shall play this season - I think, next season, he is prepared," Van Gaal told MUTV.
"Maybe he is prepared for the European Championship, I cannot predict.
"It is possible, but then that is also in our favour because then he is fit for the new competition."

By Uwoghiren

A brilliant hat-trick from  Ronaldo saved Real Madrid's Champions League campaign, as the Spanish side battled back to down Wolfsburg 3-0 and progress to the semi-finals.
Madrid appeared to have a sizeable task in front of them having lost the first leg in Germany 2-0 but were rescued in stunning fashion as Ronaldo continued his magnificent goalscoring form in the Champions League.
The former United forward netted two goals in the space of 90 seconds to bring Madrid level in the tie, before completing his hat trick and the turnaround with 13 minutes remaining.
Ronaldo halved the aggregate deficit with a composed 15th-minute finish and just one minute and 26 seconds later Madrid were all square as he headed home Toni Kroos' corner.
Wolfsburg did not lie down following that devastating spell and threatened on multiple occasions to turn the tie back in their favour.
But Ronaldo refused to be denied and capped a stunning individual performance in fitting fashion with a sublime free-kick that marked his 16th Champions League goal of the season and kept Madrid's hopes of an 11th European crown very much alive.

FIFA THREATENS NIGERIA SANCTION

FIFA THREATENS SANCTIONS OVER NFF LEADERSHIP ISSUE
By uwoghiren

Fifa has warned that the sacked Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) board should be reinstated, or it says it will impose sanctions on the country.
The executive board of the Nigeria Football Federation was fired by a Federal High Court ruling in Jos on Friday following the nullification of the election of Amaju Pinnick.
The court ordered challenger Chris Giwa to take over the leadership of the NFF with immediate effect and ordered the sports minister, Solomon Dalung to recognise his election victory at the August 26, 2014 polls.
Fifa, however, has criticised the move, claiming it goes against the organisation's principle of country's football associations being independent bodies and expressing concern over the outside interference.
“We would like to remind you that according to articles 13 and 17 of the Fifa statutes, all members associations have to manage their affairs independently and with no influence from third parties,” Fifa wrote in a letter mailed to the NFF and signed by acting secretary general Markus Kattner.
“In addition and according to article 68 of the Fifa Statutes, recourse to ordinary courts of law is prohibited unless specifically provided for in the Fifa regulations.
“Furthermore, it is the duty of each member association to ensure that these provisions are implemented by its members and possibly take sanctions against those which fail to respect these obligations.
“In view of the above, the decision of the Federal High Court in Jos, if implemented, would likely be considered as interference in the internal affairs of the NFF and the case would be brought to the highest authorities of FIFA for consideration of sanctions, including the suspension of the NFF,” it concluded.

A Step by Step Guide to Become a Successful Industrialist

1. Acquire Business Training

The first step to follow in your quest to becoming an industrialist is to acquire business training. Acquiring business training involves obtaining a degree in business management or any relevant course and also an MBA.

The truth is that, it becomes easier for you to succeed as an entrepreneur if you have taken your time to acquire business training before starting your business and also some business refresher courses whilst running your business. Statistics show that the reason why businesses fail is because the owners didn’t undergo any formal business training prior to starting the business. As an industrialist, you must have a robust working knowledge of the industry where you operate.

Jimoh Ibrahim read law at Obafemi Awolowo University but did his master on public administration at Harvard.

2. Draw Your Business Plan

The aim of starting a business must reflect in your business plan. If you intend starting a business that will grow so big and dominate your industry, then you must clearly state it in your business plan. Key factors like expansion strategies and growth must be critically looked into. If your goal is to become an industrialist, you are not expected to have same business plan with someone who wants to run a mom and pop business. As a matter of fact, you should engage the services of business consultants to help you write a professional business plan.

3. Be Willing to Delay Gratification

One of the characteristics of an industrialist is the ability to delay gratification. If truly you want to become an industrialist, then you should not be carried away whenever you make a big break with your small business – your focus should be on your overall goal. The rule is never to spend all your profits if you have not achieved the goal you set for yourself; you must continue to reinvest your profits back to your business until it grows so big to dominate your industry in your own sphere of influence.

4. Source for Reliable Business Partners

No doubt it will be very difficult and challenging becoming an industrialist without the help of reliable business partners. The truth is that you would need reliable, tested and trusted business partners to work with if your aim is to grow as an entrepreneur to becoming a business magnet – No one becomes a successful business man or woman without the help of others. So, ensure that you source for reliable business partners that will be willing to support your business goal and vision.

5. Be Careful of Who You Hire

The success of any organization is to a larger extent dependent on the quality of employees under its payroll. So, if your vision is to become an industrialist, then you should be very much interested on who works for you. Although some CEO in a bigger organization doesn’t really play a part in the recruitment process for their organization for want of time, but if your aim is to become an industrialist, then you must create time to be part of the recruitment process of your organization.

6. Set a Goal and Always Revisit the Goal

Before dreaming of becoming an industrialist, you must have seen or heard of great industrialist in our world; industrialists like Henry Ford, Andrew Carnegie, Richard Branson and Aliko Dangote, et al. All these people didn’t just become great industrialists overnight; they set goals and work towards achieving the goals.

So also, if your dream is to become an industrialist, then you must set goals in that line. It is one thing to set goal, it is entirely another thing to work towards achieving the goal. Don’t just stop at setting goal, you must revisit your goal from time to time to evaluate your performance and get refocused.

7. Stay Motivated

There are numerous challenges within the business world; some will be within your control and some other totally out of your control. The truth is that you can’t control the global economy, but you can position your business not to be greatly affected by economic recession. As a result, in order to become an industrialist, you must be willing to stay motivated because at different stages of your business growth, you will be confronted with challenges.

Over and above, these are the business success secrets of the richest industrialist billionaires in the world. Becoming an industrialist is all about producing quality goods and services that will be generally accepted by a larger chunk of the existing market. If you want to replicate their success in any industry / niche, all you have to do is simply put these success formulas to work and I will see you at the top.

Biography of the week - Nathaniel Bassy

It has been our culture to bring to you, weekly, the Biography of Celebrities especially here in Nigeria.

This week, we bring to you one name that must be mentioned wherever and whenever Gospel music is mentioned in Nigeria and beyond.

Nathaniel Bassey was born in Lagos, Nigeria. He is from Ikot Ofon Ikono, Uyo local government area in Akwa-Ibom state, South-South Nigeria. His father, Mr E Joshua Bassey, was a minister in The Apostolic Church Bashua Assembly and from an early age he developed a love for both music and the gospel.

He was inspired when He saw Dr Panam Percy Paul, a prominent Nigerian gospel music icon in concert over twenty years ago and since then, His passion for music has grown and translated into various musical experiences.

In his early years, he developed a rather uncommon interest for jazz music and began listening, imitating and playing to the music of Louis Armstrong, Miles Davies, Clifford Brown, Charlie Parker, Stan Getz and Kirk Whalum, Phil Driscoll, Hugh Masakela and other Jazz luminaries. His zeal for the Jazz form would later stir him to seek out bands and groups along the Jazz lines. He then joined a top jazz quartet in Lagos, Spectrum 4, where he played alongside his childhood friends.

About that time Nat, as he is fondly called, was approached by one of the most respectable figures in the Nigerian jazz and music circle, Elder Steve Rhodes to lead, arguably, the first Jazz Orchestra in the country – THE STEVE RHODES ORCHESTRA. He served as band leader and lead trumpet player for a period of two years and later moved on with his music career. His peculiar and particularly soulful trumpet playing style caught the ears of top Artistes and composers within and outside the country. Teemac, Ayo Bankole Jr, Cobhams Asuquo, Wole Oni, Yinka Davies, Adlan Cruise, Funsho Ogundipe, Peter King, Sotiris Papadopoulus, Paul Petersen, The French Cultural centre, American International School, are but a few individuals and organizations that have sought his musical ingenuity.

As time passed, Nathaniel began sensing a deep yearning within. There was more to his music than he thought. He later took time off his numerous mainstream commitments to seek the Lord under the Mentorship and guidance of Late Pastor Eskor Mfon, the former Pastor of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God, City Of David Parish. This decision attracted fierce criticisms from friends, Artistes and colleagues who thought it unthinkable abandoning what was becoming a thriving mainstream music career to serve exclusively at a local church.

As he developed an intimate fellowship with the Holy Spirit, He then realized that music was more than an item to fill a space in time but was a fundamental tool in the praise and worship of the Lord. Soon after, a music ministry was born and for Nathaniel, the main thrust was WORSHIP – Music of heaven – one that ministered exclusively to the Lord and an avenue through which HE related with His people. His trumpet playing coupled with a calm singing style has since ushered many in concerts, crusades and churches into the presence of the LORD. I can testify to that. I, Soter Happy Aghayere experience angelic visitation when I listen to his songs (Casting Crowns in particular).

Nathaniel, a graduate of Politics and International Relations at the University of London, also serves as the director of music at the RCCG; The King’s Court. He has attended music courses in and out of the country including the Middlesex University Summer School UK, where he studied popular music and music business. He writes, sings and produces his own music and records with diverse groups of musicians.

Nathaniel’s debut album Elohim was recorded and mixed in Cape Town, South Africa in the year 2008. It has been described as a spiritual and Artistic masterpiece with the hit track “Someone’s knocking at the door” a soft-rock tune currently generating so much interest locally and internationally

Sources say Nathaniel Bassey is hired sometimes just to blow his trumpet round banks and business premises thereby bringing down the glory.

Before I forget, Nathaniel Bassey was here in the City of Benin to train aspiring worship singers.

Useful tips on giving a quick speech or toast.

Most people would agree that the idea of speaking in front of large groups of people can be terrifying, and so we tend to avoid it whenever possible. There are times, however, when we are faced with the task and there's no running away: we must say a few words. The following is a template for success which you can use when it's your turn to speak, in just about any type of gathering, formal or informal.

1. The Greeting

"Good..."

The greeting is the easy part. You begin by simply wishing your audience a good morning, afternoon, evening, or whatever time of day it is. **Good* evening everybody...*

2. State the Event

"As we all know..."

The second part is also very easy: You simply state the obvious and remind everybody what the purpose of the event or celebration is, and what you're all doing there. **As we all know,* we're here to celebrate the marriage of John and Kate, and to show them our support as they begin their journey of love and life together...* Now you've got the ball rolling, and the words are coming out easily. You look like you know what you're doing up there, and people are listening. So now, it's time to....

3. Establish Common Ground

"We've all..."

It's important to include your audience as part of the message you're delivering. Talk about something both yourself and your audience can relate to regarding the event or celebration. **We've all* had the wonderful opportunity to get to know John and Kate and enjoy watching their love develop...*

4. State Why You're Speaking

"I..."

Include a personal account, or tell a brief story to let people know why you specifically are talking. What gives you the right to be speaking..? **I've* personally been very lucky to have John as a close friend of mine, and it's been quite amazing to watch how he's grown as a person, and couldn't be more pleased for him to have found someone like Kate to go about his life with...*

5. Call for Action

"So let's all..."

Finally, close your speech with a call for action. This lets everybody know that you're finished without you having to awkwardly say "That's it!" or "I'm finished, thank you"...that is how every weak speech is concluded and makes the audience uncomfortable. You should say something like **"So let's all* raise a glass to John and Kate, and wish them well. Cheers!" or, So Let's all give a big round of applause to Mark for the outstanding job he's done while working with the company"*

*you can also crack a little joke at least to buy a little time and manage remaining speech. but this depends on the kind of event and the mood of the audience

Obviously, there are many different ways these leading lines can be used, but if you can commit them to memory and be prepared to use them next time you might be asked to speak, you will let go of all fear and anxiety, and people will be SO impressed with your ability to get up and give a confident, fluent speech in front of a group of people, while looking like you didn't even have to prepare! Good luck, and happy public speaking!

EVERY WOMAN NEEDS TO READ THIS.

If I were a woman. I'll not cook or wash for a man in a relationship. I'll not do that if he compulsorily demands it. He should know how to cook and wash his clothes. If I must do it willingly, I'll not do it to prove to him that I can cook so he'll marry me.
I'll never do anything to seek his validation or do it as an obligation. It's not a favour having a man marry me!!!

If a man loves a woman, he should love her whether she can cook, wash, or do any domestic chores.
A lot of women don't know their worth. Everything they do in a relationship, they do so the man will marry them. Even if he says “lick my ass”, they'll do it because they feel singleness is a curse.

What is the man also doing so you'll validate him?
Can't you use your brain and see you're worshipping men.

If he can't marry you without checking you out, he should go. You don't test high value commodities. You buy them because you know it's valuable.

Some lazy men just sit down and pride their chauvinistic ego waiting to marry a woman who can cook, wash, clean, mop, scrub and even Good on bed. No way!!

BARCA SLIP TO A SHOCK DEFEAT

LUIS ENRIQUE'S MEN SLIP TO SHOCK DEFEAT
By Uwoghiren

The Catalans fell to a second successive defeat following their Clasico loss to Real Madrid at the Anoeta Stadium, with Mikel Oyarzabal's headed goal proving decisive
Barcelona are just three points clear of Atletico Madrid and four ahead of Real Madrid in La Liga as their miserable form at Anoeta Stadium continued with a 1-0 defeat at Real Sociedad on Saturday, a result that blew the title race wide open.
Having been beaten by Madrid in the Clasico last weekend and seen both their arch rivals and fellow title challengers Atletico win earlier in the day, Barca headed to Basque country needing a positive result.
But instead they slipped to a third game without a win as the Catalan club's wait for a first away win over Sociedad since 2007 continued.
Sociedad, who came into the game on the back of a surprise 2-1 win over Sevilla, netted what proved to be the decisive goal in the fifth minute through Mikel Oyarzabal's fine header.
Barca dominated from that point on but, missing the suspended Luis Suarez, could not find a way past the in-form Geronimo Rulli, who pulled off a string of fine saves to frustrate Luis Enrique's.
Messi  also saw a late header easily saved by Rulli, who then denied Iniesta once more as Sociedad stood firm to condemn Barca to successive league defeats for the first time since November 2014.

MOURINHO: NO CONTRACT WITH MANCHESTER UNITED

MOURINHO: I DO NOT HAVE A CONTRACT WITH MANCHESTER UNITED
By uwoghiren

Jose Mourinho insists he does not have a contract with the old Trafford outfit to take over as the club's manager next season.
The former Chelsea boss has been heavily tipped to replace United manager next season with Louis van Gaal coming under fire for a weak style of play after heavy investment in the transfer market.
It has been widely reported that Mourinho has already signed a pre-contract at Old Trafford, but the former Chelsea boss maintains that there is no such deal in place.
"[Van Gaal] is my friend, I worked with him for a few years," the Portuguese coach told Sky Sports.
"I am always linked with jobs and in the summer I will have a job, but in this moment I can promise you I do not have a contract with any club.
"I am not in a position to turn jobs down, I am in a position to analyse. I am in a position to be open to any club or national team."
While Mourinho says he is open to any jobs, he admits he would prefer to stay in the premier league.
"I have to be honest, if possible I would prefer a club but I must analyse to see what is best for my career and to be back with everything I have," the 53-year-old added.
"I would prefer to be in England. I love the country, I love the football here, my family is very stable and happy.
"If possible, yes, it would be my first choice."
